Powerful Vitality
November 5th. As I reflect the moonlight of the supermoon into my whiskey and let the power of the moon flow into my body, I think about the topic for this morning's 'Ear-Biz'.
Let's appreciate Matsuo Basho's super famous haiku,
'The old pond, a frog jumps in, the sound of water,' by considering the author's feelings!
Standing in a very pure space, in the silence, I feel the joy of being alive... That is the emotion I had.
The type of frog must surely be a dark-spotted frog.
The relatively large, yet cool 'plop' sound echoes, spreading into the air like ripples on the water's surface. It is a situation that is overflowing with vitality, yet very quiet.
It must be beautiful, don't you think...
I also often hear the same sound in early spring. It is not an old pond, but a rice field. The sound of the dark-spotted frog is truly powerful.
In the same silence as tonight's moon viewing, a scene overflowing with vitality comes to mind.
Well then, let's do our best tomorrow too♪
