The Reason for Eri Yukimura's Tears [Shiny Colors Solo Live: Wagamama na Mama]

I myself used to know the anime characters, but I never had the opportunity to know the people behind them (the voice actors), let alone their agencies or personal relationships, nor did I even try to find out. I think most people are like that.

This is a supplement based on the imagination of a fan, for those who don't know about the people behind the characters, explaining
why Eri Yukimura, the voice of Fuyuko Mayuzumi, shed tears during her greeting on DAY 1 of the [Shiny Colors Solo Live: Wagamama na Mama].

Background 1) Agency

These three belong to the same voice acting agency, "VIMS," and are also contemporarieswho joined at the same time.

Background 2) Casting for Shiny Colors

These two are initial membersfrom when Shiny Colors service began in 2018.
Eri Yukimura, voice of Fuyuko Mayuzumi, is an additional memberas part of Straylight, added in 2019.
The three of them started their careers as rookie voice actors together.
In fact, Yukimura also took the initial audition, but it wasn't meant to be, and the two contemporaries went on to climb the big ladder that is The Idolmaster.
Even though she joined a year later, I can't put into words how she must have felt when her contemporaries got ahead of her.

Background 3) The relationship between the three contemporaries

Even if they are contemporaries at the same agency, it is a world of merit.
They are rivals when it comes to getting roles (work). It's not an industry where you can get by just by being friends.
This is an episode from when Mineta was a guest on Yukimura's program event, Henbokke; it seems Yukimura told them she had been chosen to join Shiny Colors while the three of them were eating together. The two of them were as happy as if it were their own success, hugged Yukimura, and cried with joy.
Mineta recalled this episode with tears in her eyes.
I hear people talk about 'business friendships,' but I think they are

Background 4) Shiny Colors 3rd LIVE Tokyo Day 2

The Shiny Colors 3rd tour held in 2021.
A tour with two days each in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. 3 to 4 idols performed their solo songs for the first time each day.
However, due to the state of emergency caused by COVID-19, only Tokyo Day 2 became without an audience.The idols on that day were the following four:
・Natsuha Arisugawa
・Hinana Ichikawa
・Juri Saijo
・Mano Sakuragi

Yukimura and Suzumoto are so close that it's impossible to describe it all here; you can see that they watch over each other more closely than anyone else, not only doing independent lessons together but also hanging out in their private lives, including with Mineta.
I'm sure that not only Suzumoto but also Yukimura felt the situation of having no audience as if it were her own.

Then came Suzumoto's greeting this time.
After finishing her lines as Natsuha, she said this:
“Finally, finally. Thank you for today as well.”
It was so full of emotion that I was tearing up too...

Immediately after, Yukimura was overcome with emotion...
Yukimura was hugged by her, and then Suzumoto said, 'Thank you, it's okay.'

Tears shed for someone else are truly wonderful...
