'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' is a story that begins when the protagonist, who works for a major general contractor, gets caught in an incident and dies.
He is then reincarnated into another world as a slime.

Upon his death, the protagonist reflects on his life and thinks about several things he wishes he had done differently. As a result, he acquires various unique skills after his reincarnation and begins a new life with strength unusual for a slime.

I think many people are familiar with this story just by its title, and are left wondering, 'What? A slime...?'
I was the same way.

In talking about 'TenSura,' I struggled with how much I should reveal, but I want to write down the things that, had I known them, would have made me watch it much sooner.

It's probably hard to imagine what a slime would do in another world, right?

This slime, who later goes by the name Rimuru, retains all his memories from his previous life.
Yes, he worked for a general contractor.

The beginning of 'TenSura' is a story about Rimuru using his experience and knowledge from his past life to teach monsters how to build a city, bring civilization to them, and build a nation.

This is very interesting, as it feels like tracing the development of modern society.

At the same time, it is interspersed with episodes where he puts those who come at him with an arrogant attitude in their place, providing a sense of satisfaction similar to the classic Japanese period drama 'Mito Komon.'

But wait, the protagonist is a slime... for those who think that,
let me just say this.

Don't worry, Rimuru becomes incredibly beautiful!!!!!!

He also fights using swordsmanship and magic to the fullest.
I also recommend it to those who like flashy action.

Some might feel that the protagonist is too charismatic and too strong, making things too easy, but it seems there is a demand for a worldview where the protagonist doesn't have to struggle.

However, I sometimes feel a slightly psychopathic vibe from that extreme nature.

I think Rimuru is actually a pretty dangerous guy, and that's part of why I like him, but I worry that if a middle schooler were to watch this, they might perceive Rimuru as absolute justice.

That's why I hope that those who were obsessed with it as teenagers, and even those who weren't, will return to watch this world again after they've grown up a bit and gained more life experience.
