"Goldfish Princess"
A mother who decided to have two "frozen eggs" returned to her womb at once.
What were born were twin sisters.
The younger sister weighed 3000g, but I, the older sister, was only 20g...
◎ Commentary
This is a work submitted to this year's Gyakufunsha Novel Awards☆
It's still before the judging, so it's nerve-wracking!!!
"Goldfish Princess" is a very strange and eerie story.
Sisters born as twins. While the younger sister was likely a normal baby, I, the older sister, was born at 20g.
I thought this feeling was very Kojiki-like!!
And so, born small and forced to have my lower body amputated, I am fused with the body of a goldfish by a doctor.
What a crazy doctor!!!
Since it's for the Gyakufunsha Novel Awards, this opening 800 characters ends with [To be continued].
I drew this while imagining what would happen to "me," who ended up being kept in a fish tank...
When you think of a mermaid (even if it's a goldfish), you think of... singing? So, I gave her a singing expression.
However, since this Goldfish Princess is lamenting the unfairness of this world, I also tried to make it look like she is complaining.
Also, thinking that the eeriness of this story might lie in the twisted nature of the mother and the doctor, the picture gradually became distorted as well.
Since she is a goldfish, her body is short, and in proportion to that, her arms became long.
The eyes watching the Goldfish Princess... I wonder whose they are...
