[Drawing Pictures from Stories] No. 13 "Rerekoi" by Charirere-san
This is today's "Drawing Pictures from Stories".
Entry No. 13
Charirere [Sometimes Gian]-san
"Rerekoi"
Rereko-san has been given a serialization slot in a free paper.
Deciding to write on the theme of love, she writes about different forms of romance in a different style each time.
At the same time, Rereko-san develops feelings for her editor, Iwasaki-san.

◎ Commentary
At the beginning, Rereko-san and Iwasaki-san are seriously discussing the content of the serialization, but gradually Rereko-san's airheaded nature explodes.
The mismatch in conversation between Iwasaki-san, who wants to talk about the serialization, and Rereko-san, who wants to talk about love, is divine, and the back-and-forth, which is like a comedy sketch, is hilarious.
In contrast, the romance episodes that Rereko-san writes have such a sense of realism that it feels like peeking into someone's secrets, making it hard to believe they were written by the same person.
Is this what they call a genius?
I tried to capture in a drawing the feeling of thinking, "Wow, she's super annoying lol," while also wanting to see more of what Rereko-san writes, as she reacts to every little thing Iwasaki-san says and tears up with a sniffle.
I had a feeling Rereko-san would wear something like a complicated lace blouse, so I drew her with that in mind.
How is it, Charirere-san?
Thank you for letting me draw this.
If you would like to use it as a header image, you are welcome to crop it however you like, but I have also prepared one for you.
