I was chosen as the "original poem (tanka)" for the third article
in Madoka Sasara's "Secret Reply Poem" series.
This is a project where you write a reply poem (henka) to the theme tanka (original poem)
in the comments section.

Choosing three poems and collaborating with Yuzu-san
I felt very honored to be chosen as an original poem by Madoka-san. What's more, I was so happy to have my work placed alongside that of Yuzu-san, whom I am always close with✨
It was a series of things to be grateful for, but Yuzu-san made a suggestion: "Let's each choose three poems from the reply poems and announce them."
And then, Yuzu-san had a brilliant rule✨

Honestly, they were all such wonderful works of sensibility that I wanted to choose all of them, but I had to choose three...
Oh! This is difficult... so, without setting any special criteria, I chose them by focusing on the words that made my heart flutter😊

This question, “You know, right?”, made my heart flutter. It feels like it's filled with the sentiment of, “You do know, don't you? I want you to know.”

Choosing is difficult, isn't it... Actually, I've never given out a private award even in haiku competitions. There are too many works I think are good, so I get lost in indecision. This was my first time choosing someone else's work, and I was nervous^^;

When I saw the works Yuzu-san chose, for some reason I felt Yuzu-san's presence in them, and it was a strange feeling. That is because the poems I thought Yuzu-san would choose were indeed chosen.
