Overview of the "Sound Library" Complex Cultural Entertainment Space Project

This is a facility I intend to open within one year after moving to Oita City.

As a pilot case, I will open a music cafe while I am still living in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

I envision utilizing users of a Type B disability employment support workshop as the back-end staff, but since I currently lack the financial resources to independently hire a 'facility manager' (estimated by ChatGPT to require a monthly salary of 380,000 to 400,000 yen), I believe I should start in a modest form, similar to a 'branch office' of the workshop in Kurume that I have been involved with.

The order of establishment I am envisioning is as follows:

1. Start as a second-hand goods store (hybrid of physical store sales and online retail) dealing in used books (including comics and doujinshi) and CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays/vinyl records.
   *However, books will be limited to those related to music, art, psychology, psychiatry, and disability welfare.
   I will also clearly define the music software line to focus on classical, jazz, musicals, techno, and anime-song-related J-POP.

2. Establish a cafe space there. At this stage, workshop users will be assigned as service staff on a rotating basis.

3. Second-hand audio equipment dealer activities will also begin.
   Demonstrations that do not involve high volumes will be held in the store as needed.
   I have already secured stores in Fukuoka City and Kurume City that can cooperate with us, such as by sharing inventory.

4. AV theater-related products will be expanded.
   An environment where customers can experience demonstrations of large monitors and full-scale 7.1ch Dolby surround systems will also be set up.

5. DTM and AI-generated music tutoring will begin.
   I can serve as the instructor.
   At this point, I will promote the use of this facility to people with disabilities as content for acquiring skills for self-reliance.

6. Mini live music venue enhancements.
   Should I move to a new tenant space at this stage?
   A capacity of 30 people including standing room seems appropriate.
   During the day, it will be a music and reading cafe,
   and at night, it will host live performances (initially prioritizing performers with disabilities; auditions will be held, but the focus will be on stage manners rather than 'skill level'),
   as well as talk shows on music, video works, psychology, and youth culture hosted by me as the instructor.

7. I will also consider creating original merchandise for this complex facility and expanding sales through online retail.
   Tasks from merchandise creation to packaging and shipping can naturally be handled by the back-end workshop.

8. Consignment sales of goods and products made by workshops in other regions will also be considered.
