The new face drawn for me by Ippobito-san. A treasure that arrived from Hakata Island in the Seto Inland Sea♪

I have some happy news to share✨

Ippobito-san has created an icon for me!

Ippobito-san left their corporate job and is now working as a freelancer on Hakata Island in the Seto Inland Sea. They are a creator who makes wonderful illustrations and videos that look like a mix of Makoto Shinkai and Ghibli☝️

When I first started on note, I didn't like the default icon, but I couldn't think of anything better, so I used a yellow smiley face icon that wasn't much different from the default one.

I had always felt uncomfortable with that icon, and years went by while I kept thinking I wanted to change it.

One day, while I was thinking about that again and browsing note, I came across a collaboration article between Ippobito-san and Hitotarao-san.

I wanted to ask for an icon, but I thought they must be busy, and my indecisiveness crossed my mind again. However, I took the plunge and contacted Ippobito-san, even though I felt unworthy♪

Seeing their wonderful illustrations and fun, warm articles flipped a switch in me, even though I had been a bundle of hesitation!

I received a reply right away, and they interviewed me several times. When they showed me a sample of the icon, they asked if I had any requests, like wanting it to be more like this or that.

Actually, my icon up until now was a yellow smiley face, and while I didn't particularly like it myself, it served as a recognizable landmark that made it easy to spot my articles.

I shared that story and asked if they could keep the background yellow.
I left the color tones and such up to them.

Oh, that's right!
The initial portrait illustration was so adorable💖
I thought about just using it as is.
But, to avoid being accused of fraud...
I requested that they add laugh lines to make it age-appropriate😉
They managed to turn even such a strange request into a cute and wonderful illustration✨

As expected of Ippobito-san!
They created something truly wonderful for me💖

When I mentioned that there were articles where I wanted to use illustrations, they created beautiful and gentle works for me♪
I plan to take my time and carefully select which illustrations to use for those articles at a later date😊

First of all, I wrote about the fact that my icon has changed—a huge event that makes me incredibly happy😊

Also, they remade the banner I usually use for my articles into a truly wonderful one! It's moving✨✨✨
I was so surprised that such a wonderful banner was included as a bonus!
I definitely want people who visit my articles from now on to see it a lot✨
