It was because I kept writing that I realized what I wanted to write. | A record of my 2nd month on note๐
It has been exactly two months since I started note๐
With a mix of various emotions, it feels like, "It's only been two months?"
First of all, the reason I've been able to continue this far is thanks to those of you who read my work.
It's not about "trying to say something profound"; honestly, without people reading, I wouldn't be able to "keep writing."
That is how much "how tough it is to keep going" was the thing I felt most during my second month.
To you, who are reading this.
Really, truly...
Thank you!
Today, while expressing my gratitude, I would like to look back on the changes and achievements of my second month on note๐ซง

The number of articles I wrote this past month was 20.
I felt like "I didn't write that much..." but I was actually writing once every three days.
I did my best. I feel it deeply.
The view count, comment count, and like count for my second month on note are like this.

I've never compared myself to others, so I don't know if these numbers are high or low.
What's important is comparing myself to my past self.
So, I will compare them with last month's results.

Both likes and comments have doubled...!
I'm not setting goals based on numbers, so the number of likes and comments is just one indicator.
However, I think it is a fact that "I am steadily growing my note."
I'm so glad I kept writing!
Regarding the articles I wrote this month, I feel like "every article is being read consistently and steadily".
I feel like I've started to understand my own comfortable tone, the atmosphere of articles that get read, and how to "put the feelings I want to write into words."
I don't feel like I've grown in any visible way.
Achievements and abilities might not be flashy things, but rather things that steadily accumulate over time.
๐ Popular Article Ranking!
Here, I will introduce the articles I wrote in my second month that had the highest engagement rates (the ratio of 'likes' to views) in a ranking format ๐ป
๐
Engagement Rate 1st Place (21.5%)
๐ Engagement Rate 2nd Place (21.3%)
๐ Engagement Rate 3rd Place (19.2%)
This month, I wrote a lot of essay-like articles where I expanded on things that just popped into my head.
Perhaps those kinds of 'words that deeply contemplate a fleeting moment' are easier for people to relate to.
๐ Changes in my 2nd month
I'll summarize the changes in my feelings and situation during my second month on note compared to last month.
ใปThe busy season was insane, and I had absolutely no time.
ใปI ran out of both energy and stamina, and couldn't write.
ใปMy X posts gained traction, and I started to understand 'words that resonate'.
ใปI felt both a sense of fulfillment and anxiety about being read consistently.
ใปI was able to write a paid article that I was satisfied with.
ใปI wasn't able to read other people's notes at all.
This month, work was just too difficult.
One trouble after another; honestly, it's unbelievable (Pretty Cure).
Thanks to my kind colleagues, I'm managing to get through it.
I'm truly blessed with the people around me... I'm grateful.
Because of that situation, days continued where I couldn't face my note.
I wanted to use the three-day weekend to build up outlines and drafts, but it ended with me just napping with my cat.
But the reason I didn't give up during that time was because 'when I posted about note on X, I received more reactions than I expected'.
I even received comments saying 'I came to note from X,' which I was very grateful for.
note isn't just about writing articles.
It's about reading other people's articles, leaving comments, and interacting with fellow note users on X or Threads.
Even if you can't update your articles, just posting about note is fine.
Even on days when I feel like I can't write, there are things I can do.
It was a month where I learned the importance of stacking up small actions.
๐ Toward my 3rd month on note
After writing on note for two months, I finally have a goal for my writing.
It's a long-term goal, butI want to be able to provide a "classic flavor." That's what I'm thinking.
For example.
If you want to eat healthy Japanese food, you go to Ootoya.
If you're in the mood for something really junky, you go to Burger King.
If you want a cheap and hearty meal, you go to Matsuya.
I want to grow my note into a place that offers a classic flavor, where people think, 'I want to read this person's note because I'm craving this flavor.'
Actually, this might be something I should have thought about during the site design phase...
But it was precisely because I kept writing about various things that I was able to arrive at this thought.
I am just a humble cat-loving geek.
So, I can't write about know-how that produces big results or techniques for a sudden turnaround.
But I can wholeheartedly offer small, positive words that push you forward, or words that affirm your 'likes'.
Because that is how I have received courage myself.
To you who read this article.
Thank you for finding me.
To you who follow me.
Thank you for connecting with me.
I will make this a place where you think, 'I want to come back and read this note again.'
So, I would be happy if you would continue to walk with me in the town of note for a long time to come, starting from my third month onwards ๐พ
