Writers are Readers. [1] A Prescription for When note Becomes a Burden
──Let's start with the question: "Is daily posting really necessary?"
Are you working hard on your daily posts?
Do you ever feel like it's becoming a burden?
……I do sometimes 😅
I think everyone who posts on note daily hits a moment where they stop and think, "Ugh..." at some point.
• I'm busy
• I have no ideas
• I'm not feeling well
• There's little engagement even when I do write
You feel frustrated with yourself for lacking motivation, and before you know it, even opening the app feels like a chore.
Today, for those of you feeling this way,
I'm delivering the first step under the theme of "A Prescription for When note Becomes a Burden."
You "don't have to" post every day.
It's often said that on note, "people who post daily are strong."
In fact, I think that's true.
Your account power (posting frequency, engagement, impressions, etc.) increases, and your writing skills are polished through repeated posting.
But let me say this.
There is no rule that says you must post every day.
When your main job is busy
When your heart is full with family matters
When you just can't get the words out
There is no need to force yourself to write at times like those.
In fact, at such times, giving yourself "permission to take a break" is much more important.
"Not being able to post = being a failure" is not true.
Stopping is also a strategy for continuing on note.
Even so, if you want to connect note to your work
Having said that.
If you are thinking, "I want to connect note to publishing" or "I want to work as a writer," then posting frequency is indeed a key factor.
This is because "making writing your job"is not a world where you can just write whatever you want whenever you want.
Even when you are busy, having the habit of continuing to write, even just a little.
That will become a strength for your future self.
But please rest assured.
I will deliver details on these "techniques for continuing" and "tips for habituation" next time.
Next time preview: "What should I do when I can't write?"
Next time, I will deliver aconcrete prescriptionfor when note becomes a burden.
• When you can't write, "try reading"
• Try making AI your partner
From the perspective of such input and ingenuity, let's think together about "a path for writers to return."
May there come a day when you want to write again. I will continue this series for that day ✍️
