[Rehearsal Diary 26] A week focused on the Nagoya performance of Suor Angelica
After finishing the performances of "Urikohime no Yoru/Hanshin," we are finally heading to Nagoya this weekend.
Rehearsals are underway for the "Suor Angelica" & Gala Concert on Monday, September 15th (National Holiday).

We are adjusting entrances, exits, and chair placement to match the hall at the Nagoya City Nishi Cultural Small Theater, where the performance will take place.
We are also repeating staging and music rehearsals to further polish the musical aspects.
Just a week ago, we were singing and dancing in Japanese, creating a stage production that anyone could easily understand, but
now it has completely shifted to a world of Italian language and bel canto resonance.
Even though it is all called opera, the ways of expression are truly diverse, and I feel fortunate to be involved in both.

This is my first time performing in Nagoya. I have a feeling it will be over in the blink of an eye, but I am very much looking forward to it.
I will rest well when I can to keep my health in check, and approach this with full concentration.
