[Self-Introduction] Nice to meet you. I'm Chicchi Hatomaru☆
I am writing 'The Instruction Manual for the Drama Called Life'☆
I had cancer at 21.
Living as a wild child, doing as I pleased,
but living with all my might (lol).
Caring for my parents.
My own illness.
I even hit the point where I had the least amount of money in my life.
Things I realized through those events.
Reality was
'a textbook prepared just for me'!
I love books. I love movies. I love rock music.
I, who have always believed that experience and emotion are everything,
thought this when I found out I had cancer:
'Interesting...'
It's a strange thing.
I understand why I felt that way now, but
I thought, 'Wow, this is going to be good material...', and
for some reason, I felt excited.
I had surgery, experienced chemotherapy,
and before I knew it, I was back to my 'ordinary days'.
Those 'ordinary days' were also
filled with the recurring care of my parents,
my own long-term illness accompanied by intense pain,
and honestly, one thing after another, it was just,
a rough daily life where such things kept happening (lol).
While struggling with the thought that I wasn't born to experience this,
to taste such a painful and difficult life,
I went through the world of spirituality intensely and thoroughly,
yet I continued to have doubts about my own life,
and so.
Rather than focusing on the 'events that occur',
I began to think that everything is condensed into
'how you view them and how you feel about them.'
And then, at one point,
I had the least amount of money I've ever had in my life.
I have to work somehow!
I knew it was a very difficult job, but
I went to a nursing care facility thinking they would be short-staffed and I could work immediately.
Well, it was tough. Surprisingly tough.
When I actually worked there, it was truly a microcosm of life,
a place that showed what it means to be human.
Each person has their own.
A life drama where no two are the same.
While taking care of them,
I realized, oh, in the end, this real world is...
Looking at the events in front of you,
what kind of emotions and thoughts well up inside you,
and how do you receive them? What do you notice?
I see. It really is just that.
While experiencing various things
in that way,
it became certain to me that
reality is
'a textbook prepared just for me'!
Not only things that make me feel happy,
but also things that make me feel sad or painful
are all included,
a textbook of realizations just for me.
In this note,
I hope to continue writing essays that share the little realizations I've found in life
and tickle the funny bone of everyone's own 'living'☆
Even if you are currently
in the middle of a fierce storm of reality,
I hope you can breathe deeply.
