[Airplane Strategy] My Daughter's Crying Fits
When traveling by public transportation, it is inevitable that small children will sometimes cry.
Especially on an airplane, it is hard to move around, so there is a limit to how much you can soothe them, right?
Also, although there is WiFi, the speed is not sufficient, so streaming content on the plane is difficult.
My daughter (1 year old) is exactly in that state.
I still don't know when she will get fussy, and once she starts, it takes time to get her to stop crying.
During our trip home for the New Year holidays, she was in full swing (sweat).
On the way there, she cried her heart out during the second half.
Although picture books bought us some time, it didn't last long, and in the end, she was inconsolable.
I thought the return trip would be the same... but then I found an effective item!
It was a sticker book included in the amenities JAL gives to children.
When I gave it to her as she started to get fussy, my daughter was very interested in the sticker book.
My daughter has always liked stickers.
A sticker book with many different kinds of stickers is truly a treasure trove of play.
Thanks to that, she spent the time until landing without crying.
You're amazing, JAL!
Compared to picture books, it keeps her entertained longer and is compact.
Plus, it's cost-effective.
I will make sure to bring a sticker book as a companion for our next long trip.
If you have similar worries, please.
Give it a try.
