June Grand Kabuki (Matinee)

The June Grand Kabuki from 6/3 to 6/25!
I was so looking forward to this because of the Oshi-matsuri festival!
I was eager and managed to get a seat near the hanamichi walkway.
First, the matinee.
"Gion Sairei Shinkoki"
It's my first time seeing the Yuki-hime of the three princesses, so my expectations were high! Plus, Tokizo-san... (love).
It was incredibly beautiful. Cherry blossom petals were falling like a blizzard.

I brought home some of the petals that fell. They are beautiful petal shapes. The props are also beautiful.
"Modori Kago Iro ni Aikata"
Tokizo-san's son, Baishi-kun. He was so adorable! His uncle Mantaro-san watched over him kindly, and his grandfather Manju-san also watched over him kindly; it was a warm atmosphere.
Mantaro-san was so cool.
"Lone Wolf and Cub"
Shido-san and his son Natsuki-kun revived that Lone Wolf and Cub! I remember seeing Kinnosuke Yorozuya-san (Shido-san's uncle) in it, perhaps in a rerun, so I watched it with a sense of nostalgia.
It feels like a Kabuki version of a period drama, different from television.
Shido-san was truly an assassin! Slashing away.
It was incredibly fun!!
To be continued in the evening performance
