⭐️❶ Huh, can you tell the difference between viruses?? 982
※I am a participant in the Amazon Associates Program.
The ogre's sudden illness.
Hmm, it's winter, so technically it's not 'kakuran' (sunstroke/heatstroke).
I wonder if the meaning is even getting across in the first place?

I haven't caught a cold in at least the last ten years.
I haven't had any vaccinations, but fortunately, I haven't caught COVID or the flu either.
I've come to realize that was just pure luck.
On 12/1, I participated in the '10,000 Person Ninth'.
From the morning gathering until the end of the performance, we were cooped up in Osaka-Jo Hall for over 10 hours.
The concrete floor was freezing cold from underneath.
The super-efficient ventilation system had cold air raining down from above.
Even so, I protected myself by wearing a jacket and wrapping a stole around my neck until the performance started.
Once the performance began, I was in a white blouse.
Other participants were in the same situation, so it's not like I was in a uniquely vulnerable position.
Since I participate every year, I know exactly what it's like.
Little elementary school girl with a bright red face and a mask, don't you have a fever?
I can hear the sound of phlegm rattling in your throat, too.
After you cough, you're holding the phlegm in your puffed-up cheeks, aren't you?
I'm sorry if I'm wrong.
Look, dear, I'm not trying to speak ill of you.
The person next to you is your mother, right?
You didn't even have a tissue.
I saw someone nearby giving you one.
If I were your mother, I would have said, 'It's a shame since you worked so hard at practice, but let's stay home today.'
If I let you stay home -> someone has to stay with you at home -> your mother would have to stay home too...
Ah, maybe your mother didn't want to give up on participating.
It must have been tough for you in that condition, right?
I wonder if you stayed home from school the next day...
I fully enjoyed the performance on the day.
I wrote an article about the Ninth the next day, and I remember making ginger pork for dinner, so maybe it was after that?
My muscles? My bones? My whole body? It started to hurt.
While I was wrapped up in my futon staying still, I started to have a dry cough.
Since it rarely happens, I decided to take a 'housework break' and while I was lounging around, it hit me.
Could this be the situation known as 'catching a cold'?
It had been so long that I didn't realize it right away.
I didn't have the 'chills,' the 'achoo,' or the 'sniffles,' and I didn't have a fever either.
Maybe I had a slight fever, though.
In the end, the cold-like symptoms didn't become severe, but they triggered dizziness, nausea, and loss of appetite.
Scrolling on my iPhone was more painful than usual, and I could barely read anything on no+e or X.
But I could write, and I was actually writing.
Quality aside.
I intended to at least reply to those who left comments, but I'm sorry if I missed any.
That was the situation.
By the time this is posted, it should already be in the past tense, so please don't worry about it.
However, the number and speed of articles I can read will remain drastically reduced.
Please forgive me.
Opportunities to catch a virus are everywhere, for everyone, at any time.
You can't pinpoint it.
Even so, I couldn't help but think, 'Was it that time?' or 'Was it that girl?'
I'm sorry, I was a bad lady.
It's been 100 years since I cooked rice porridge for myself.
I put 1 cup of rice and about 1 liter of water into a heat-resistant glass pot, I think?
I added 4-5 homemade vintage pickled plums (how many years ago did I pickle them? They're dried and shriveled), covered it, and put it on the heat.
Once the rice started dancing and boiling, I turned off the heat.
Unlike an earthenware pot, it lacks charm, but since I can see inside, there's no worry about it boiling over.
After that, I just left it alone, that's all.
A pot full of plum porridge is ready.
My pot is an antique, and the lid is flat.
The lid itself can be used like a frying pan, which is super convenient.
It can be used not only on an open flame but also in the microwave and oven.
It was a gift, though.
When I was working, I weighed a little under 45kg.
Since taking a leave of absence, I've been careful not to let it drop below 40kg.
I finally recovered to around 43kg while dressed.
Even so, after eating a mountain of porridge, it dropped so much I was about to dip into the 30kg range.
That's dangerous!!
This morning, I was a little under 41kg while dressed.
I intend to eat and move to regain my muscle and physical strength.

My attitude is big, but I look small
My skin is thick, but my body is thin

There's a guy who boasted, '(You) gave me a cold!!' and '(You) gave me a cold!!'
There's a guy who complained, '(Because of that) the plans I'd been looking forward to for over a month were ruined.'
It's Shu (pseudonym, eldest son)!!
Apparently, he developed a fever while I was on hiatus and was sent home early from work.
I don't care!!
I started self-restricting my activities as soon as I realized, didn't I?
It's a case of 'protect yourself on your own.'
We don't even have conversations, let alone physical affection, right?
It's true that I did the laundry every day, but if anything, you could have done the laundry for your sick mother, couldn't you?
Or what?
Are you saying I should have just left yours unwashed?
Your workplace is a super popular supermarket, right?
You come into contact with way more unspecified people every day than I do, don't you?
You pick up the products that customers have touched, one by one, don't you?
Are there really not a single one of those customers who has a cold?
Or what?
Did the virus that got into your body greet you by saying, "I've come from your mother's place"?
Is the cause of your cold only me?
You say, "You gave it to me, yet you went out to have fun!!" but I didn't go out to have fun, you know.
I did go to the dentist for a scheduled appointment, though.
When was it again?
When you caught COVID, you should have just stayed in your room, but you came out to the living room to spend time, didn't you.
You were eating meals in the living room, weren't you.
Yumi (pseudonym, eldest daughter) and I were both protecting ourselves, thinking, "I won't let you infect me!!"Neither of us had been vaccinated, but I never once told you to "go hide in your room"!!
Come to think of it, I feel like a fishing reel arrived from Amazon.
I feel like you bought new fire starters.
The Schau Essen sausages in the fridge weren't your snacks; maybe they were for a BBQ at the riverbank.
You must have been really looking forward to it.
Huh?
But you just went fishing the other day, didn't you...
Osamu hasn't missed work (probably) except for the day he left early.
He's drinking over-the-counter cold medicine and expensive energy drinks.
He seems to have some coughing, sneezing, and a runny nose, but not to a degree that I can distinguish from his usual perennial allergies.
His appetite hasn't diminished either; isn't he eating heartily?
If you were so frustrated that you had to vent your anger at me while I was self-restricting my activities by saying, "You went out to have fun!!", you should have just gone fishing at your own risk.
After all, you're going to work, aren't you?
You're interacting with customers, aren't you?
Fishing is outdoors, right?
The ventilation is sufficient, right?
You could dress warmly in layers, stick heat packs all over your back and waist, wear a double mask, and just face away from your friends when you eat.
It's just, I don't get any sympathy, and on top of that, I get abused for nothing.
There's no way I would know about Osamu's fishing plans when he doesn't talk, right?
I'm sure you'll go to the usual Comiket at the end of the year, but I don't know when you're leaving or when you're coming back.
It's not that I want to know, but I'd at least like to know if you need New Year's Eve soba noodles.
It was a stroke of luck that I was able to rest my body unexpectedly.
I was really fed up with the dizziness, but I could lounge around to my heart's content, morning, noon, or night.
I even tried out some strokes I learned in the air on Core-chan (ukulele) every now and then (I did refrain from singing, of course).
Starting rehabilitation for daily life.
But you know, I'll make sure not to overdo it.
The people I live with probably assume that "it's natural for Mom to do it" or "Mom does it because she wants to," right?
That's not the case, you know.
I'm providing the environment that you all take for granted only by making an effort and working hard.
This is probably just self-satisfaction.
A little bit lacking is just right.
Yeah, I'm sure that must be it!!
I wonder if the girl with the bright red face didn't have any complications?
I wonder if it didn't spread to your mother?
I wonder if Osamu's virus really did transfer from me?
It was a loss to be told that, but it's fine now.
I'll start radio calisthenics again soon.
But I won't push myself.
If I can get up, that's fine, right?
(12/9)

I got a seafood bowl from the local Kura Sushi
When I took it out
It was unexpectedly disappointing, so

with a big scoop

The yellowtail and tuna sesame sashimi yukhoe was delicious
The sea bream rice was served in a wooden tub (all-you-can-eat)
I wanted to make it into rice balls and take it home...
[Bonus]
They say there are still doctors who prescribe "antibiotics" for colds.
Antibiotics kill "bacteria."
Since cold "viruses" are "not" bacteria, they don't die from antibiotics.
By putting unnecessary antibiotics into your body, you end up killing the (necessary) resident bacteria that didn't need to die.
Comprehensive cold medicine (so-called cold medicine), antipyretics (painkillers), cough suppressants, and runny nose medicine are all symptomatic treatments that cannot cure a cold.
It's unavoidable when you absolutely cannot take time off work or school (though I have my doubts about that...).
Suppressing the "normal" reaction of trying to fight off and expel the virus in your body with medicine is putting the cart before the horse.
If you felt like "it got better after taking it" or "it worked well," I think that was just the timing when it was going to get better anyway, but who knows. (12/12)
[Another bonus]
On Saturday, 12/14, from 16:00, the special program for the recent "Suntory 10,000 People's Ninth" will be broadcast on the MBS/TBS nationwide network.
Please watch it m(_ _)m (12/13)
