It came to me suddenly.
"Shorts over logic."
Doesn't it have a nice ring to it?
Don't you want to say it out loud?
Not really?
Oh, is that so...


While reading the comments I received, I was thinking about subjectivity and values.
Maybe I'll write about this theme sometime soon.
How about a title like "Your Subjectivity, My Values"?
Too cliché?
……I suppose so.

I rarely decide on a title first.
It's also rare for a title to be decided easily.
I change them in a panic after posting all the time.

Subjectivity and values are tricky because people confuse facts with truth.
The fact that something "is..." and thinking "it should be..." or "it must be..." are different, right?

There is probably no such thing as which is the true correctness between fact and truth, or whose subjectivity or another person's values are superior.
There are times when "The fact is... but..." happens, and as for "I am..., but you are different, aren't you," that exists everywhere all the time.

Neither can be called a mistake.
Facts have evidence.
Arguments and evidence are different.
"Evidence over logic."

While I was thinking about such things aimlessly, "Shorts over logic" flashed into my mind.
Why not turn the things I get lost in, worry about, and want to complain about into stories?
I've already written plenty about "getting lost," "worrying," and "complaining."
They're bound to keep bubbling up anyway.


There's no way they'll become moving masterpieces.
Shorts are fine.
The kind that ends so quickly that just as you start reading, you think, "So, what was the point?"

How many characters for a palm-sized story<how many characters for a short-short<what is the standard for a short story.
Who cares about that.
Short in the sense of "short."
Short in the sense of "not long."


I haven't written a novel in a while.
The desire to write doesn't come up.
I don't feel desperate to write either.


Even though I'm not writing and don't feel like it, I'll just keep the title.
I don't know if it'll ever get used, but I'll write the name and put it on the bottle rack.

Is someone already using it?
Don't imitate me.
Don't steal it.
You don't need it, you say?
Too cliché, you say?
Ah, is that so.
Then that's just perfect.
