Do you know what affirmative and negative words are?

Affirmative words are, simply put,
words that contain a positive image.

For example,
・Walking
・Let'scontinue
・Let'sstay here
・〇〇 isgood

Negative words are, simply put,
words that contain a negative image.

For example,
・Don't run
・Don't stop
・Don't go
・〇〇 is not good

After all, it feels better to use affirmative words as much as possible rather than negative words.

That said, both negative and affirmative words can slip out spontaneously.

But, it's okay.

If you happen to say a negative word,
you can just convert it to an affirmative word afterward!

For example,

"Don't run in the hallway!" (Negative word)
↓
"Let's walk in the hallway!" (Converted to affirmative word)

"I can't do 〇〇" (Negative word)
↓
"I can do △△" (Converted to affirmative word)

(Upon receiving some kind of value)
"I'm sorry" (Negative word)
↓
"Thank you" (Converted to affirmative word)

Something like that.

"How can I convert this negative word into an affirmative word?"

After you've said a negative word, when you have a moment, try looking for an affirmative word to replace it.

And, when you can, try to
actually start using those positive words.

Because of X,I had a hard time
↓
Thanks to X,I learned how to avoid
having a hard time.

This is the action I take in my head
when I have a hard time.

This is also the act of converting
negative words into positive ones after saying them.

By doing this, you will feel a little better,
and the version of you that had a hard time will be saved.

Positive words and negative words come in pairs.

You could also say that behind every negative word, there is a positive one.

It is fine to do this only when you have the capacity.
If you notice yourself saying a negative word,
please try to find the positive word
hidden behind it.

And please try to make an effort to actually use
positive words as much as possible.

If you do that, I am sure you will be able to
live your life feeling a little better than before.
