A Comprehensive Summary of Beauty and Health in 2025!
Mel-Chie, which posts articles on the last Wednesday of every month, has its final post of the year on New Year's Eve! To all Cellulam holders and everyone who has enjoyed Cellulam treatments, thank you so much for your support this year! I know you are busy, but I have put together a summary of this year, and I would be happy if you could take a look!
~A year of regaining the 'power to restore'~
Looking back at beauty and health in 2025, this year was one that placed more importance on 'restoring from within' rather than 'decorating from the outside.' As busyness and stress have become part of daily life, I feel that more people are seeking care that can be sustained while being kind to the mind and body, rather than beauty and health methods that require pushing oneself too hard.
In the beauty field, the concept of 'skin management' has become more common. Rather than care with immediate effects, moisture-focused skincare that enhances the skin's barrier function and stabilizes its foundation has gained support, and items for sensitive skin or with low-irritation formulas have attracted attention. In addition, 'subtractive beauty,' which involves reviewing the number of items used according to age and skin condition, has also spread, and the attitude of choosing only what is truly necessary for oneself is becoming established.
In the field of inner care, fermented foods that improve the intestinal environment, probiotics, and the intake of high-quality protein have continued to be trends. This year, in particular, dietary methods conscious of stabilizing blood sugar levels and balancing the autonomic nervous system became a hot topic, and it seems more people are becoming aware not only of what they eat, but also the order and time of day they eat. It can be said that this was a year in which the awareness of considering physical condition and beauty as inseparable became even stronger.
In terms of health, I think the focus of conversation was on exercises that can be continued without putting a burden on the body, such as Pilates, stretching, and walking, rather than intense training. The idea of preventing ailments by not only building muscle strength but also improving posture and the quality of breathing has spread, and I feel that the purpose of exercise has shifted from 'training' to 'restoring.'
Furthermore, this year, the importance of mental care received more attention than ever before. Lifestyle habits that improve sleep quality, digital detoxing by reviewing how one interacts with smartphones, and self-care such as meditation and deep breathing have come to be recognized as the foundation of beauty and health. I think for many people, this was a year in which they realized that when the mind is stable, positive changes appear in the skin and physical condition as well.
2025 was a year to re-examine that 'beauty means not pushing yourself too hard' and 'health is the accumulation of daily habits.' Personally, I think that 'the world is catching up to the philosophy of Cellulam more and more!' Let's continue to cultivate comfortable beauty and health together in 2026 while listening to our own voices!
Everyone, thank you for your continued support next year!
