Infinite Renga: Volume 11

(Since the number of comments on Volume 10 exceeded 100, I am reposting Volume 11 as a new article.) We are currently holding an


Infinite Renga that anyone can join at any time, whether just once or many times. Please take a look at the simple rules below and feel free to participate!

【Basic Rules of Renga】

Choku (a 17-syllable line of 5-7-5) and Tanku (a 14-syllable line of 7-7) are linked by alternating between them.

Person A: 5-7-5 Person B: 7-7 Person C: 5-7-5 Person D: 7-7

: Continue in this manner. Adding a line to the previous person's line is called
tsukeru

, and the line added is called a
Tsukekuadded line. Person B should add a 7-7 line so that

A+B forms a single tanka (5-7-5-7-7). Person C should add a 5-7-5 line so that

C+B forms a single tanka (5-7-5-7-7). Person D should add a 7-7 line so that

C+D forms... and so on.

Traditional Renga has a rule that the content must change between A+B and C+B, but in this Infinite Renga, we want you to enjoy it casually, so there are no such restrictions. You are welcome to use similar content or even the same words multiple times. Since there is no set order, anyone can add a line at any time they like.

Seasonal words are not required.

Non-followers are welcome, and anyone can join freely. (No greeting is necessary. Of course, you are welcome to include one if you like.)

Consecutive posts are allowed. (
Person A can add to Person A's own line.)

If a long or short line is duplicated due to simultaneous posting, there is no need to delete it.

If there is a duplication, the next person should choose from: 1. Add to the earlier line, 2. Add to whichever one you like, 3. Add a versatile line that seems to fit both.

I will not be commenting on the added lines.
