Talking about my love for Mnemosyne

Someone was talking about their love for Rollbahn.
So, I have decided to talk about my love for Mnemosyne.

I feel that if I just say the names Rollbahn or Mnemosyne, those who have no interest in them won't have any idea what I'm talking about.
If I write Rollbahn and Mnemosyne, you might have seen their covers at stationery or variety stores.
Both are names of notebook brands.

There was a time when I was doing morning calligraphy practice.
I plan to publish an article about fountain pens and ink in the future, so I will write about it in detail there.

That was when I encountered Maruman's Mnemosyne.

The first one I bought was an A5 blank notebook, but when I started morning calligraphy practice, I bought an A5 special grid ruled one.
I have loved it ever since.
Although I have tried various other notebooks besides Mnemosyne, I always end up coming back to it.

What makes it good is the paper quality. It doesn't snag, it's not too slippery, and you can write on it smoothly.
The paper color is white, making it easy to see regardless of the ink color used.
There is no bleed-through. The darkness of the grid and dots is also just right.
And it's a ring notebook that is easy to open. This is an important point for me personally.
Although I don't use them, they basically come with perforations so they can be neatly torn out.
Also, it looks very good, and I think it can be used stylishly at work.
I'll say it again, the paper quality is just great. It's a pleasure to write on.
I would like to use this for all my writing paper.

Even though it has been quite a while since I stopped doing calligraphy, I still like Mnemosyne very much.
There are already many types, but to be honest, I would like them to increase the variety a little more.
I understand that the target audience is likely people who handle their work smartly.
Even so, I want types smaller than A5, or standard horizontal ruled or grid versions that aren't special.
Not vertical opening, but horizontal opening.
I feel like I can't quite scratch that itch.

Paper and notebooks are a deep, deep swamp, and everyone has their own preferences.
If asked what I like among them, I would answer Mnemosyne without hesitation.
It is a little expensive, but I think it is a truly good notebook, so please try it.
