I am often asked for directions.
The first time I was asked this year was this ⤵⤵⤵

Even children I don't know talk to me.

To children, I might look like a harmless, just-right kind of middle-aged lady
( ´∀｀ )…

Well, the other day, on a day with strong winds.
As soon as I arrived at the bus stop, a girl around the lower grades of elementary school who was waiting for the bus spoke to me.

"Can you tie a bow?"
Wow, that was sudden.

I can, but...

"Please tie this for me."
She asked me to tie the strings of her uniform (probably karate) bottoms.

"I got this far, but..."
Looking at it, she must have tried to do it herself somehow. It was knotted up like a dumpling, but very loose.
It would slide right down like this, but it was hard to untie.

I untied the dumpling, tied it into a bow as she wanted, and pulled it tight.

"Thank you very much."
She was able to say thank you properly, which is great.
She was also able to ask a random person for help when she was in trouble, which is great.
My gloomy mood from traveling in the strong wind cleared up.

Children around this age have soft, round bellies, so it's hard to keep things up with just strings.
If you thread an elastic band through, they can wear them even if they aren't good at tying strings, so it would be good if their family noticed and did that for them.

I am being spoken to by strangers smoothly again this year =^_^=
