Last week, I finished a requested job, and I finally feel like I can relax.
For me, the real summer vacation starts this week ( *´艸｀)

Even though it's a vacation, it's hot outside, and I don't feel like going anywhere.
At times like this, the best thing to do is find entertainment at home.

The other day, there was a report on TV about Kyohei Sorita, who won second place in the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition.

He currently also works as a conductor, performing 'hikifuri'.
'Hikifuri' means conducting while playing the piano.

Indeed, it was 'Nodame Cantabile'.
In the final movement of the movie, Chiaki performed hikifuri.
He said that when he saw that, he thought it was cool.

Chiaki's hikifuri is a very impressive scene.
I think everyone would agree it's cool.

What's amazing about Mr. Sorita is that he thought it was cool and was actually able to do it.

I've watched Nodame many times.
Ah, I've started wanting to watch it again...

So, I decided to watch the whole thing.
Netflix had the drama and the movies.
It's a shame the European arc isn't there, but I'll settle for this.

I have a habit of repeating only the things I like.
Anne of Green Gables, which I read as a child.
I read it repeatedly for many years.
I watch dramas I like over and over.
I've watched 'Quartet' many times too.
There are several other dramas I want to watch repeatedly.
I'll save watching these for my retirement.

So, I watched all of 'Nodame Cantabile' again.

It really feels like I'm on summer vacation.
