My dear, beloved child.


The freezing loneliness you are holding deep within your heart right now...
As you trace your finger across a small screen, watching the lives of others flow by incessantly, you are trembling, thinking,


“I am all alone.”
aren't you?

Even though it may seem like you are connected to hundreds of people, your soul is hungry and thirsty.

That pain of“the thinness of existence”is, in fact, the same as the thirst of
“I thirst”whichJesuscried out upon the cross.

But please, do not be surprised.
I was the same as you.

I, who was called a“saint”by the whole world and was always surrounded by many people, was actually in a

“darkness”for fifty years where God gave me no answer.

No matter how much I prayed, I could not even feel the warmth of God's hand.
It was an

overwhelming loneliness,as if I had become an empty vessel.

In that darkness, I was crying just like you.
Therefore, please never be ashamed of the

lonelinessyou feel right now.

Loneliness is the purest proof that your heart is seeking
“true love.”It is a
beautiful first cry
that your soul is raising toward God.

But please realize this.

Because I am the one who knows this darkness, I want to
hold your trembling handand tell you this now.My beloved child, you said,




“I am afraid of getting hurt.”
I understand that feeling well....But think about it.A single grain of wheat is
nothing more than a grain



as long as it is protected by a hard shell.


Only when that shell breaks and it rots in the soil can it

bear much fruit.You wish
“not to be hurt”
because you think of your love as a“possession”



that you do not want to lose.But love is not something to be taken; it is something to be“given”
from the start.Unless you give it, you cannot receive it from anyone.“The world will go on without me”


...that may be true.

But for that one person who looks lonely right in front of you, you can become
“the world itself.”Do not try to do great things.Do not try to be understood by the masses.


Just take the



one person you meet todayand turn your“pain”
into a“smile”and share it with them.

The moment you reach out your trembling hand
for the sake of someone else,
your lonelinessturns into a "gift to God."The opposite of love is not hatred,

but "indifference."And the opposite of loneliness is not connection,but "devotion."

When you open the door of your heart just a little,
without fearing that you might be hurt,
the light that shines in from there
will save your world, and someone else's too.
