Say YES to your desires. Open the door to the unknown with a free heart.
Hello, I'm Maru.
Through my experience of changing from someone who was super negative, I share the secrets to living comfortably and how to embrace your true self.
The boy next door was,
for some reason, digging a hole with great enthusiasm.
Did he discover something?
Or was he trying to bury something?
I don't know the reason, but
he was digging away busily.
Then,
Hey! Stop that!
I heard his mother's voice from behind.
At that moment, his movements stopped dead.
On the face of the child looking back fearfully was
I want to do a little more!
But if I do any more, I'm in trouble...
a mix of both feelings.
In the end, the hole digging was interrupted.
You can't win against your mother, can you?
I had similar experiences too.
On a rainy day, because I was wearing rain boots,
I'd be excited thinking, 'I can jump in the puddles!'
only to be stopped with, 'Don't jump in them on purpose!', or
when I was climbing a tree,
I'd be stopped with, 'Don't climb any higher than that!'
From the perspective of adults,
Think about those around you,
It's dangerous to go any further,
Make sure it's safe, and so on,
I think they were setting limits
to protect the child.
I understand that now that I am an adult.
However, because I followed the rules too much,
I became afraid of failure,
and became hesitant
to try new things,
rather than my 'I want to' feelings,
I started prioritizing
'what I should do' or 'what I must do'.
However, for the great adventure that is life,
the feeling ofI want to do itis essential.
Because that is what makes the story interesting
and makes the protagonist shine.
If you think, 'I want to try it',
tell yourself, 'It's okay to do it.'
If you think, 'I want to enjoy it',
tell yourself, 'It's okay to enjoy it.'
When you think, "I don't want to fail,"
tell yourself, "It's okay to fail."
When you think, "I want to be happy,"
tell yourself, "It's okay to be happy."
In this way, one by one,
I want to forgive myself.
You don't need anyone's permission.
You just need to tell yourself, "It's okay to do it."
By forgiving yourself,
the courage and joy for new challenges will expand,
and your life will become more fulfilling♪
Thank you very much
for reading until the end.
If you could leave a like, comment, or follow,
it would be a great encouragement for the future!
