This Is How Courage Is Born

Hello, this is Maru.

I want self-confidence.

I think there are many people who feel that way.

If someone were to give me "self-confidence" as a gift,
I would want it too.

If I had self-confidence,
it feels like I could do more things, doesn't it?

If I take on new challenges,
I can grow more than I am now,
and I feel like I could learn to like myself more.

I keep thinking, "If only I had [self-confidence]!", but
how to actually gain self-confidence
was never written in any textbook.

So,

when I saw a seminar titled "Change into someone who can act with confidence!",

I was easily swayed by those words. Haha.

I thought there might be some magical method somewhere.
But, there was no such thing.

If you want self-confidence, there is one method I can say for sure!
That is,

Try to muster up a little bit of courage every day.

I am currently posting on Note every day,
and this also requires me to muster up a little bit of courage.

The same goes for when I leave comments
and when I reply to comments.

Connecting with people I don't know
is a series of small acts of courage.

Before I go to sleep,
I praise myself for that. Haha.

By mustering up small amounts of courage,
it has become easier for me
to take on new things.

Since I can think well of myself like that,
I have also started to like myself.

It is little by little, but
I am becoming able to
act with confidence.

Until now,
I thought I couldn't have confidence unless I became an amazing person.

So, I felt like I had to be able to do something special
in order to become an amazing person.

However, that was not the case.

Try to summon a little bit of courage every day.

This is what is necessary.

Courage is born by doing things that require courage.
Therefore, when making a choice, please try choosing the one that requires just a little bit more courage.

If you keep doing this, you will meet a new version of yourself.
