How to make today special

Hello, this is Maru.

Whether I'm walking outside or
watching TV,
Christmas songs are playing, aren't they?

Many Christmas songs
make you feel happy.

To make children smile,
to make family smile,
to make a partner smile,

perhaps the songs are naturally cheerful
because Christmas is a time overflowing with smiles.

However, my boss said that his father
would say, "We are Buddhists!"
so they didn't have Christmas.

He said it was painful to watch
the children around him
having fun while he couldn't.

When I was a child, as December approached,
I would look forward to it,
thinking that Santa Claus was coming!

Even after I realized that Santa was my parents,
Christmas was still a fun time.

A time to spend happily with loved ones.

I think that's how I felt about it.

So, rather than worrying about religion
or why you have to give presents,
I think you should just decide for yourself that

Christmas is a day to share love.

Send love to those close to you.

It doesn't have to be a gift;
I think words are enough.

A day to say "Thank you."

A day to say "I love you."

A day to say "It's all thanks to you."

A day to say "I'm rooting for you."

Decide that it is a day to convey
the words you usually can't say.

Don't do it because everyone else is doing it;
decide for yourself.

When you decide for yourself,
it turns into a special day.

Rather than spending this time of year once a year
feeling sulky,
it is better to think about spending it happily.

Once you decide for yourself,
you can spend a fun time with those close to you.

Both you and those around you
will turn into smiles.

It is also good to try sending
more likes than usual.

The person who receives them will smile,
and that will surely come back to you♡

Instead of just wishing for happiness,
