How to Find Your Own Personal Formula for Success
Hello, this is Maru.
Through my experience of changing from being extremely negative, I share the secrets to living comfortably and how to embrace your true self.
As it gets hotter,
the time we spend with the windows open increases.
Then, from the house next door,
I hear a mother's voice saying,
"Don't do unnecessary things!"
(Is "unnecessary things" a dialect?)
It seems that a mischievous young boy
has done something he shouldn't have.
He is curious about everything right now,
and gets scolded whenever he does something unnecessary. Haha
I'm sure he doesn't intend to be mischievous,
nor does he intend to trouble his mother,
though.
When adults see someone doing something trivial
or something useless,
they seem to get irritated.
When someone does something right in front of you
that you think "should not be done,"
you get irritated, don't you?
When we become adults,
"Is there any point in doing this?"
"Will I benefit from doing this?"
We often think things like that, don't we?
"I have to do it properly,"
"I have to do it correctly,"
"I have to be responsible."
We think things like that.
Even if there is something we want to do,
"I'll start when I'm properly prepared,"
"I'll do it after I'm able to do it correctly."
We think things like that.
And if we can't do it right away,
"I have no talent,"
"I have no ability."
We give up...
This isn't fun,
and it stops our growth.
When children grow,
they do plenty of unnecessary things, don't they?
I think that by doing silly things seriously,
and by doing things that seem meaningless with all their might,
the number of things they can do increases.
And by experiencing things,
you will adapt to everything.
Doing unnecessary things
is surely not a bad thing.
In fact, perhaps we adults
should do more unnecessary things
and enjoy ourselves.
Things you think are silly,
things you think are a waste of time,
and things you think are meaningless
are things I want to try out.
There are many things you only understand
because you actually try them.
As your experience increases, so do your options, and when you learn about worlds you didn't know before,
different ideas from before
will start to come to mind.
Treasures might be hidden
within those unnecessary things.
The ones who do it are the ones who win.
