Autumn Apple Festival
The Apple Festival is being held.
The announcements were mostly as rumored, and since the new models of items I was considering replacing were announced, I was very interested, but the content was personally underwhelming.
It has been about six years since I purchased the AirPods Pro (Gen. 1) (though I did have the earbuds replaced for free due to a malfunction along the way), so I was thinking it was about time, but I reconsidered whether jumping on the AirPods Pro 3 immediately was the right move. They claim the noise cancellation is four times more effective than the Gen. 1, but I don't rely on noise cancellation that much to begin with, and if anything, I place more importance on sound quality, which didn't really come across in the announcement.
I might check out a few reviews and consider replacing them once the Gen. 1 starts showing noticeable issues. Or perhaps I'll switch to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Generation) that were released recently.
I considered the Apple Watch Ultra 3 just a little bit, but I'm passing on that too. I was interested in the black color and thought maybe this was the time, but there's so little change that it lacks any sense of freshness.
It's a shame I can't join in on the festival excitement, but I might just be watching from afar this time.
