Viewing the "Crystal Ball" with the "Mind's Eye" - [Mind's Eye Power]
Hello ☺︎
I am Yuki Esugi, a psychological counselor, mental coach, and family consultant ( Ü )
Last time, the topic was "Just being alive is enough"

I feel it is very important not to overlook
what is truly important and essential
that lies behind what is visible to the eye.
■ The "Way of Being" of a Counselor
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
A counselor must not view a client as a "person with problems" or a "troublesome person." No matter who the client is, regardless of their past, or what words or actions they may exhibit, one must not evaluate or analyze them by thinking, "This person has this kind of problem" or "I must fix this part of this person."
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
This is the foundation of the
"way of being"
as a counselor
that I have learned. The moment you regard a client as "a person with problems," you are neglecting the most important "way of being" as a counselor.

■ The Crystal Ball
We are all, by nature, beings like a "crystal ball."
What appear to be "problematic behaviors" or "problematic remarks" are merely "adhesive bandages" covering the "crystal ball." No matter how many layers of bandages are applied,
the essence of that person remains a beautiful "crystal ball."
(⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎)
・・
When you get an injury on your body, a scab forms. The scab stays on the wound for a certain period, but as the wound heals, it eventually falls off naturally. In the same way,
because there is some kind of injury to the heart,a bandage is applied, and once that bandage has served its purpose, it will eventually fall off naturally. When the injury to the heart heals, the bandage will naturally disappear. It is only because it is needed right now that the bandage is stuck to the surface of the "crystal ball," and the essence of that person remains a "crystal ball" without change (*˘ᴗ˘*).。.
A counselor must not be overly fixated on the bandages visible on the surface.
Every time I conduct a counseling session, I try to listen to the stories of the client's "bandages" with a feeling of pressing my hands together in my heart, as if I were worshipping the "crystal ball" that is the client's essence. These are the things I hold at the very center of my heart as the most important "way of being" as a psychological counselor.

■ Human beings are unfathomable existences
We tend to think we understand a person after listening to them for a little while, and we often evaluate, analyze, or give advice. But
human beings are not such shallow and thin existences that can be understood so easily.
No matter how much you think you understand that person, their "true thoughts"—what they have experienced so far, what emotions they have tasted there, and what they have thought—that "truth of that person" is something only they can know. Human beings are much deeper, more substantial, and unfathomable existences. ・ No matter how much I try to know or understand a client, I cannot fully know or understand them. That is precisely why I listen with all my might, clearing my ears and clearing my heart, and face them with my whole heart and soul. I face them with sincerity, so as not to miss even their unspoken thoughts, so as not to miss hearing them. While feeling the beautiful "crystal ball" quietly shining behind that client's bandages with my mind's eye, I listen to their stories with a feeling of worship. This "way of being" as a counselor has become an important mindset that serves as my foundation, not only in my work but also in living my life, and it supports me powerfully. Although I am still immature, I want to continue living while cherishing this thought.

■ Mind's Eye Power
Let me ask you a question here ( Ü ) Who is the person in front of you right now? How are you viewing that person? If there were a beautifully shining "crystal ball" deep inside that person, how would that person appear to you? What kind of words would you want to say to them? And, if there were a beautifully shining "crystal ball" deep inside yourself, how would you appear to yourself? What kind of words would you want to say to yourself ✧ *(*˘ᗜ˘*)
Living while viewing
the "crystal ball" of others and yourself with the
"mind's eye."
[Mind's Eye Power]
is something
I want to cherish.
