I'm... done
When I calmed down and realized it, the next challenge became clear.
I wrote an article about such a trivial event.
A familiar daily routine
Since the school refusal started,
I don't know how many days have passed.
I don't know how many months have passed.
I don't know what day it is,
but I never forget the trash collection day...
Even when I buy seasonal, delicious fruits or fish and serve them at the table, I don't know if they taste good or not...
Good grief...
Eventually, my eldest son started pouring hot water into a cup of instant noodles right in front of the freshly made dinner and taking it to his room.
......
I hold back a word.
Was I being lightly challenged?
(Should I try it...?)
My child is in the second year of junior high, so it can't be helped.
I'll do at least that much.
It probably has nothing to do with him refusing to go to school.
It's a common thing.
He must be frustrated too,
and if it's just to that extent, it's fine, but...
But... you know.
What am I supposed to do with this frustration of mine?
What am I supposed to do, huh??
When I grumble to my daughter (my beloved dog),
sadly, she turns her head away.
Even animals can understand negative words, can't they...
I'm sorry (-_-;)
My children's father (my husband) is often away, so I'm basically doing everything on my own.
Even though I want to say,
your precious wife is feeling so frustrated right now,
I can't...
He works late to support our lives
without a single complaint.
I feel bad about bringing up unpleasant topics to my husband when he comes home tired, so...
I try to be an understanding wife.
I am trying to be an understanding wife.
That emotion is creating a bad atmosphere in the house, and my dog is fed up, realizing it's enough already.
I should just slack off too.
A housewife's morning routine is mostly set.
By the time I finish this and that and settle down, it's 9 or 10 AM.
After a short rest, it's time to make lunch again.
For a housewife, there's practically no such thing as being evaluated.
The kids are home, after all...
How much longer will I keep trying so hard?
No, that's not where I should be putting my effort.
So... isn't it okay to stop now?
Mom is someone's child too!
I'm going to strip it all away!
About things that don't matter.
Leaving things where they were taken off, leaving things where they were used
I won't clean them up
Have you seen my...?
I don't know...
The person who takes off their socks in the living room
and leaves them rolled up like pill bugs under the coffee table
I don't know about that.
Around the sixth day
they asked, 'Hey, where are my socks?'
Huh? Isn't that them?
I picked up those round, beanbag-like things
and said, 'Ah...' as I carried them in both hands to the washing machine
The children's washed underwear and socks
I won't fold them
Into the plastic storage drawer
just toss them in
Socks are rolled together into a pair
(I do this one)
Playing games on the computer
I like puzzle games and shooting games
I'll try playing them for a long time.
Even past the time to make dinner, I'll try continuing to play with a straight face.
(This is what you guys do.)
I almost think, 'They must be hungry...', but I don't care about that anymore.
Because they'll just make ramen, right?
My second son doesn't... so I feel sorry for him and sometimes come back to my senses.
There are times when you can't act right away because of a break in the game, I get that.
But please consider the person who is waiting for you with dinner ready!
This is something I really wanted to say.
Well, isn't everything okay after all?
Could it be that you haven't even noticed this change?
If so, why didn't I do this sooner...
Because I'm a mother, I have to live a proper life.
I have to be a good example.
If you can't do it, you'll be embarrassed in public...
I've never been restricted by anyone, yet I had these arbitrary assumptions.
And there must be people who have already realized this.
I am a person who wants to be thought of as a good person by others.
I'm probably like that with my family too.
Without even realizing it, I had been using an incredible amount of energy for years.
For example, when I want someone to tidy up the room:
1. Say "tidy up" quietly.
→ They don't move.
2. Say "tidy up" in a slightly louder voice.
→ They look over a little.
3. In a very loud voice,
"How many times do I have to tell you to tidy up~!!!!"
Finally starting to clean up here
I'm...
① is a green light
② is a yellow light
③ is a red light
My level of demand is judged by the volume and tone of my voice
Why do I have to do this?
If I say things like that quietly just once, it should get through
I shouldn't have to say it every single time
It should already be input into their heads
It is good to convey important things seriously and properly
I realized this once I made things easier for myself.
When I stopped doing things I thought were taken for granted, I was able to move on to the next world!
I didn't notice because I didn't have any breathing room —
This is my memory✧
I hope this is helpful.
