The More You Complain, the More What You 'Have' Disappears
"I have no money."
"I have no time."
"My family doesn't understand me."
Before we know it, we find ourselves saying "I don't have" over and over in our daily lives.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with feeling dissatisfied.
When you are struggling, there is no need to force yourself to say, "I am happy."
However, if you keep repeating only your complaints, you may stop seeing what you actually have right now.
I have recently started to think that complaints might be like orders placed to the universe.
Complaints become orders for the same reality

I believe that in this world, "what you are looking at intensely" is what matters.
For example, you keep saying "I have no money" every day.
Then, your heart starts searching only for evidence that you lack money.
You feel depressed looking at your bank balance and get angry that you cannot buy what you want. You see others as wealthy and feel like you are the only one being left behind.
On the other hand, you fail to notice the things you were actually able to pay for this month.
In gaming terms, it is like turning on a setting that only displays what you are missing.
The gold you possess disappears from the screen, and only the equipment you cannot afford is displayed in large letters.
If you keep looking at that screen, naturally, you will start to feel that "I have nothing."
I view this as a state where every time you voice a complaint, you are ordering, "Please give me this feeling again."
This is not a scientifically proven formula.
It is simply one way of thinking that I use to observe my own heart and reality.
The more you have, the less you see it

People gradually get used to what they have obtained.
Things that were once appreciated eventually become taken for granted.
Having a family, being able to walk, being able to breathe, and being able to eat—we only realize the magnitude of these things when we lose them.
Yet, while we have them, they are hard to see.
When complaints are added on top of that, this difficulty in seeing becomes even stronger.
If you only voice complaints about your family, you will start looking only for the things you dislike about them.
If you keep saying "I'm tired" or "This is a hassle," you will forget to be grateful for the body that moved for you again today.
It is not that the universe will take away your family or health as punishment for complaining.
It is that as a result of focusing on complaints, your words and attitudes change, and you end up treating the things that are precious to you carelessly.
You are holding a treasure chest, but without checking the contents, you are running around searching for "treasure."
Sometimes, we are playing the game like that.
Start the habit of counting what you "have"

So, should we become people who never complain at all?
I don't think so.
When complaints arise, it is also a sign that your heart is tired.
What is important is not to suppress your complaints, but to look back afterward and ask, "Even so, what do I have right now?"
I have debt.
But I also have money I can pay today.
I have complaints about my family.
But I still have someone to talk to today.
My body feels heavy.
But I am standing on my own two feet and breathing.
There is no need to suddenly become wealthy from zero.
When you find one thing you "don't have," find one thing you "do have."
In gaming terms, it is the habit of checking not just your lost HP, but also your remaining HP and the recovery items you can use.
Just by doing that, the screen you see will change a little.
You can realize that in the place where you thought you had nothing, there are still things you can use.
You don't have to blame yourself for complaining.
Just don't end your day with only complaints.
At the very end, try to find just one thing that "was there today."
I believe that small habit will return you to a self that can cherish what you have right now.
