My Recent Favorite Watch and Small Holiday Luxuries

Recently, I've been spending more time relaxing at cafes.

Even in the midst of a busy daily life, it's important to take time to lift your spirits by wearing your favorite clothes and accessories, isn't it?

On this day, I paired a simple black top with my go-to necklace.

And my recent favorite is this watch on my wrist.

Watches are mysterious things.

In the past, I had the image that a watch was just something for checking the time.

But as I've grown older, I've come to think of watches as a part of fashion.

Just like bags and shoes, the overall vibe changes depending on what you wear on your wrist.

I especially love how gold-toned watches make even simple outfits look a bit more glamorous.

What I've liked for a long time is

a design that is sporty and luxurious.

The chronograph dial, the substantial case, and the gold color atmosphere are very impressive, and I think it looks cool even when worn by women.

Of course, a real Rolex is special, including its history, quality, and asset value.

I want to save the pleasure of choosing the real thing for when the time is right for me.

I saw online, 'What are nkyuhin watches actually like?'

Lately, when looking at social media and the internet,

I see people asking, "I bought a Rolex-style watch for around 20,000 yen at nkyuhin, but what are they actually like?"

I sometimes see posts like that.

At first, I also thought,

"Is it really okay to be that cheap?"

I thought.

But when you think about it, fashion doesn't always have to be expensive to be right, does it?

Whether it's clothes or bags,

・Is it a design I like?
・Is it easy to fit into my lifestyle?
・Does it make me feel good when I wear it?

I believe these are what's important.

For everyday use, there are options you can enjoy casually.

In my case, for casual outings like daily cafe visits or meals with friends, I think items where I can enjoy the design are also fine.

Especially since living in China, I feel that there are truly many choices for fashion items.

More than when I was in Japan,

"Enjoying the vibe of luxury brands"

feels like a more accessible option now.

Of course, I don't mean it has the same value as authentic brand items.

But,

"I like this design"
"I want to match this with today's outfit"

if it's just about enjoying it that way, I can understand a little why some people choose these items.

Lately, I like fashion that doesn't try too hard.

I used to think, "I have to own good things."

But now, I value finding ways to enjoy life that suit me.

Wearing my favorite clothes,
putting on my favorite watch,
and slowly sipping coffee.

Such small moments are a little bit of happiness for me lately.
