The 'Try Something New Every Week' Challenge: June Results
Hello everyone. I am Naseka.
I define myself as a philosopher and essayist and book reviewer as well.
The year 2024 is moving fast, and half of it has already passed.
I thought the busy New Year's Day was just the other day,
and now we are already in the second half!
Well, my goal for 2024 is
'to try something new every week'
.
I tend to be conservative,
so if I'm not careful, I easily fall into the trap of maintaining the status quo.
That is why I dared to set myself the goal of
'forcing myself to do'
'something new' every week and
'continuing'
to do so.
This time, I am reporting on those results.
Rules
The rules I set for myself are:
・Don't worry about how trivial the first time is (don't raise the bar for myself unnecessarily).
・Don't get hung up on 'once a week' (if there's an opportunity, take it and don't hoard them).

Reflections
June marks the six-month milestone
since I started this activity.
People who are interested in this challenge have started to appear,
and these days, I feel like I am having a small positive influence
not just on myself, but on those around me as well.
If you are thinking, "I want to change something about myself too," then this is a habit I highly recommend!
It is a habit I highly recommend for anyone who feels that way!
If every week is too difficult, then once every two weeks,
or even once a month is fine.
or even once a month is fine.
Continuing "just a little bit"
will surely change you significantly someday.
Tomorrow better than today, next month better than this month,
don't you want to always be a more evolved version of yourself
than you are right now?
It is not too late to start now.
In fact, thinking "I'll do my best starting next year..."
is not the way to go!
If you'd like, why not start running with me
right now!!
Thank you for reading.
