Based on our standard "FLYING IPA," we have dry-hopped it with two types of hops (Sabro and Mosaic). It features a vivid hop aroma as if two dragons are soaring, and an impactful bitterness.

Craft beer (then called "local beer") was born in Japan when the 1994 revision of the Liquor Tax Law significantly lowered the minimum production volume required to obtain a beer manufacturing license, making it possible for small and medium-sized producers to manufacture beer. At that time, Echigo Beer was the first in the country to open a brewpub, becoming the first domestically produced craft beer in Japan. In other words, the founding of Echigo Beer is also the birth of Japanese craft beer.

The color is a deep brownish light gold, and there is plenty of foam.
The aroma is sweet and sour.
The taste has a solid bitterness, but you can also feel a hint of sweetness and acidity within it.
Just when you think the aftertaste is surprisingly light, the bitterness kicks in.
Summary
It has been a while since I had Echigo Beer, so I challenged myself with this bitter-looking IPA.
It is certainly bitter, but it is not just a bitter beer; you can also taste the juicy hops.
