#330: People who can ask for advice directly are incredibly cool. Respect for the dazzling challengers I found in Ogaki.

330th day of daily posting.
February 25th was a consultation day at the Ogaki Business Support Center (Gaki-Biz) in Gifu Prefecture.

From morning until evening, I was able to face multiple business owners who filled the slots. Thank you so much to everyone who came.

In yesterday's article, I talked about going all-in on "new encounters" with the margin created by AI. Yesterday was truly a series of incredibly intense chemical reactions that happened after going "all-in."

Today, I want to write about the "respect" I felt once again for the challengers at the consultation site.

1. I have a hard time being "honest."

I don't really have the "honesty" to consult with others. I'm stubborn and lack charm. I try to manage things on my own and end up carrying everything by myself. I am well aware of this clumsy nature of mine.

That is precisely why the sight of everyone who visited Gaki-Biz yesterday seems so dazzling to me, and I can't help but think, "They are truly amazing."

They lay their worries and anxieties that haven't taken shape yet out in the open. They dive in, asking someone, "I want you to help me" or "I want you to lend me your wisdom."

That is by no means a "weakness," but rather the "greatest talent" and "coolness" for updating oneself.

2. That "dazzling attitude" makes me straighten my posture.

What moved me in particular was the depth of the "attitude of engagement" of everyone who came for a consultation.

One person had underlined my book thoroughly, used sticky notes, and prepared specific questions like, "How should I think about this description in my own case?"

Another person follows this Note and my social media posts that I publish daily, and seriously asks, "How can I incorporate the way of thinking and actions I learned from there into my own life?"

There are also those who use the consultation time from a broad perspective, asking how they can draw me into their own business.

Instead of just coming passively and saying "Please teach me," they are desperately spinning their own thoughts to the fullest and latching onto my posts to make them their own nourishment.

That sincere attitude was the greatest joy for me as an author and as a business owner, and at the same time, it was a moment that made me straighten my own posture.

Without being bound by my area of expertise (AI utilization), they brought truly diverse worries, ranging from new business, customer attraction, and organizational structure, to even life philosophy.

To the diverse questions everyone throws at me, I also hit back by spinning all the experience I have to the fullest.

Every time I see you all grasp a solution you are satisfied with together and watch you move forward with bright faces, I savor how grateful I am for this work.

3. The happiness of being able to "walk alongside" you.

Honestly, the time spent worrying alone is lonely. But you take a courageous step to end that loneliness and use me as a "mirror." Being able to walk alongside such hard work from all of you is a great source of pride for me.

I am deeply grateful to GakiBiz for providing an environment where such passionate challengers gather. And I send my heartfelt respect to all the business owners in Ogaki who continue to challenge themselves in this region every day, in a gritty yet light-footed way.

Your dazzling attitude has allowed me to update my own operating system as well.

On February 26th, I also spoke at an AI utilization seminar at GakiBiz. Since I have a social gathering coming up with the G-boosters members who will be helping with business development in Gifu, I will share a detailed report on the 120-minute talk I gave on the theme of "Creating a Persona of Your Own Choice" in a separate note.
