#315: Dedicating Wisdom and Sweat to the 'Desperately Clumsy'

Day 315 of daily posts. In my previous article (#314), I talked about how you don't need to hide your weaknesses, but should instead turn them into your weapons.

Today, I want to write about a 'guiding principle' that I hold very dear in my business and in my life.

Don't you think there is a mysterious law in this world?
It is the law that 'what you put out will always come back to you.'

Choose the 'gritty person' over the 'smart person'.

As a business owner, resources are finite.
I cannot just scatter 'time' and 'money' at random.
I have to be strict in my judgment there.

However, there are people I can't help but want to support, even if it means 'ignoring profitability.' Those are the people who are 'clumsy but desperately trying to make an effort.'

Rather than someone who handles things efficiently and smartly, I prefer someone who is gritty, someone who struggles to move forward even if they fall down.

When I see people like that, I can't just leave them alone.
'I want to do something for them.' 'Is there anything I can do right now?'

Thinking that way, I end up pouring in my 'wisdom' and 'action (sweat).'

'Relationship capital' where we support and are supported.

That is how I have faced those desperate people, sweating alongside them. At first glance, it might seem inefficient.

But I am undoubtedly where I am today thanks to that accumulation of efforts.

The 'desperate people' I once supported with all my might are now active in their own fields, and in turn, they are supporting me.

This is my irreplaceable 'relationship capital.'
It is the strongest asset, one that money cannot buy, connected by desperate passion.

Lectures, too, are for 'someone who is desperate.'

Thankfully, I have been receiving more requests for lectures and seminars recently. While the schedule is quite tough, I make it a point to accept them.

Because there must be 'someone desperately struggling to change' in the audience, just like I once was, or like the friends I have met along the way.

To push that one person forward, I spare no 'effort' in my preparation or the passion I bring on the day.

When you do things like that, you start getting quite a few speaking engagements.

It's okay to be clumsy.

If you are currently worried that you are 'clumsy' or 'cannot live smartly,' it's fine just the way you are. In fact, it's better that way.

The sight of you trying your hardest will surely move someone's heart.
At the very least, I love people like that.

Wisdom and sweat for the 'desperately clumsy'.

I want to continue with this stance, moving forward in a gritty way together with people who are working hard.
