While there is a loose theme of "having a connection to Niigata," a very free and open collection of ZINEs has been assembled (they might even be the work of your neighbors).
Everyone has a smartphone, social media is widespread, and there are countless places to post information. Yet, ZINEs—independent publications created with the bare minimum of a pen, paper, and a printer to capture what you want to convey or write down—remain special. Please take your time to look through them.

During the exhibition, Mr./Ms. Inoue from Kifunesha will be at the shop on Saturday, March 1st. Please come by for a chat about ZINEs.

Thank you to all the creators for your help in spreading the word. Friends and acquaintances have been visiting since the first day.
The bookstore owner will be away at Shironepresso this weekend, but we are very much looking forward to your visit.
