Even after becoming a student,
I didn't have much time
to do student-like things.
I only used student discount tickets
when I had to travel far
for schooling.
I don't think I could use them
for leisure.
I also don't feel like they
made things that much cheaper.
Even so, I
always carried that student ID
along with my driver's license.
Even though there was
almost no opportunity to use it.
Because that card
was proof
that I was truly learning.
The days just went by.
A student ID as an adult
was more than just a discount card.
To me back then,
it was like a small charm
that told me, 'It's okay to keep learning.'
