Nostalgia
I will try uploading some random images from those I have taken in the past.
I live in Hachioji, which is in the countryside on the western edge of Tokyo, but I don't see storefronts with this much nostalgia in my local area. Even when walking in front of Hachioji Station, there are only modern chain stores. I took this photo in Nakano Ward, and I instinctively pressed the shutter when I saw it while walking from Nakano Station toward Arai Yakushi. I even feel a cultural heritage-like value in this layout. It is a presence that I hope will remain forever, as these Showa-retro independent shops are preserved in the city center rather than in the suburbs.
