[Concerns Edition] Vol. 4 Do you think "I can't because I'm blacklisted"? Things you should know before giving up and thinking "I can't borrow anymore."
"I think I'm blacklisted, so it's impossible for me anywhere now."
This is one of the consultations I actually receive quite often.
However, when I listen to the details,
"Because I saw it on the internet."
"Because a friend told me."
There are not a few people who have decided it is impossible for them based solely on reasons like these.
This time, I will explain as clearly as possible about "blacklisted," which many people misunderstand.
There is no list called a "blacklist."
First, I want you to know that
there is no such thing as a list named "blacklist".
What is generally called "blacklisted" is a term often used to refer to a state where information regarding contracts and repayments, such as delinquencies, is registered as credit information.
In other words,
"I'm blacklisted, so it's over."
It is not that simple.
In the screening process, various information including your current situation is checked.
Just because you were turned down once does not mean everything is over.
Just because you didn't pass a screening once,
"It's impossible anywhere now."
There are not a few people who think this way.
However, screening processes take various factors into account, such as the specific criteria of each lender and your situation at that time.
On the other hand,
"Then I should just apply to every single one."
This way of thinking is also not recommended.
Applying to many companies in a short period can sometimes work against you in the screening process, so rather than acting in haste, it is important to first organize your situation.
It is dangerous to rely solely on information found online.
On social media,
"You can definitely borrow."
"Anyone can get approved here."
You may come across such posts.
However,
・Annual income
・Employment status
・Borrowing status
・Repayment status
・Reason for needing funds
These are different for every individual.
That is precisely why,
the results of others do not necessarily apply to you.
The most important thing is to know your 'current situation'.
"Because I'm blacklisted."
"Because I was rejected before."
Giving up just because of those words is a real shame.
First,
✅ How much you currently owe
✅ How much you are repaying each month
✅ Why you need the funds
By organizing these situations, it becomes easier to see what you should consider next.
Summary
