[65] If you're on note, you can publish on Kindle in as little as one hour.
Hello, this is Okayu. Welcome.
Thank you as always.
That's a rather arrogant title, isn't it?
But I really think it's possible.
I actually tried it—Kindle publishing.
It will be available to read on 11/1, so please check it out.
I want my children and grandchildren to read it—I had that vision, so naturally, I started with a book related to children.
This time, I'm talking to those who are considering publishing.
The flow until publication
First, I borrowed quite a bit of wisdom from those who came before me.
This one.
There's a Kindle edition in the magazine that teaches you in great detail.
I won't write down the detailed steps because I feel like that would interfere with their business, but to put it roughly, the process is like this.
・Initial registration
・Adding a little extra to your note articles
・Creating a cover
・Uploading
・Registering price and other details
That's it. You can do it!
If you get stuck, check out Nao-san's membership above or the help link I posted below.
Points that take time
However, one hour is the time after omitting various processes.
By the way, for my first book, I spent about eight hours in total.
There are two reasons for this.
I wanted to understand it myselfand I was a bitparticularabout it. Also, there were points I already omitted for the first book.
I'll write down each of them just in case.
Points you should understand
1. How to shortcut the process for next time and beyond
2. How to check
3. The balance between page count and price
Points I focused on
1. Line breaks and page breaks
(to ensure it doesn't look strange when viewed on a smartphone)
2. Reducing the number of items in the table of contents
Points I omitted from the first book
1. Requesting a cover design
2. Requesting proofreading
So, if you skip all those points entirely, it takes about an hour.
Thoughts after trying it
For those who are thinking, 'I'm going to make money!', there might be a lot of things you need to do before that.
Like building a fan base or making announcements.
But for people who feel like 'things can't stay the way they are' or 'I want to leave a mark on my life!', you can do it easily, so you should definitely give it a try.
The level of effort is, let's see...
about the same as preparing for a part-time job interview.
That usually involves, right?
Searching online -> applying -> filling out documents
something like that.
It really is that fast.
You can break through your current situation with it, and some people might even start earning royalties.
Oh my.
Afterword
Since this article also serves as a promotion, I'll keep it light and short.
But it makes you feel like you could do it, doesn't it?
I'd be happy if I could give you even a little push.
See you later!
Oh, I'll post it one more time.
