When told, "You can write whatever you want," you surprisingly end up unable to write anything.
When words are too free, they float in the air. A composition started without a set theme often settles into thin, generic prose that feels like something you've seen somewhere before.
Strangely enough, when there are "limitations," creativity actually begins to move.
This principle applies not only to humans but also to generative AI.
In fact, it is precisely when AI is given limitations that it sometimes shows “creativity that turns those limitations to its advantage.”
Yes, constraints can be a catalyst for creativity.
✅ Why “binding” AI makes its output more interesting：
Having a framework creates “twists” and “ingenuity” in the content
Trying to convey information within a limited word count increases the “compression ratio”
When there is a gap between the theme and the format, it creates the “unexpected”
In other words, when you intentionally add constraints to a prompt, the AI begins to “dance within the frame.”

Summarize the following text in the “5-7-5-7-7” tanka format. The theme is “what it means to work.” It can be abstract, but make it evocative.
→ What emerges is a hybrid of “poetry” and “structured inquiry.” A moment where you catch a glimpse of the AI's linguistic sense.
✅ Prompt example with constraints ② (Vocabulary restriction):
Please explain “generative AI.” However, limit the words you use to a first-year junior high school level, and do not use technical jargon. The reader is a fifth-grade elementary student.
→ As a result, the AI's ability to explain difficult things in a way that makes them “understood from the roots” is tested. This is also a good learning experience for humans.

Write an essay with a touch of irony about the future of AI. However, keep it within 5 sentences. Furthermore, make the last sentence a question.

This "discrepancy" creates new discoveries and humor.
Constraints are not boring rules. They are the "walls" that reflect creativity.
Without a wall, a ball will not bounce back. Likewise, without constraints, AI's words simply "flow away."
