[Short Video Released] A Strange Landmark in Amane Town: 'The Alley with the Gentle Delinquent' and Wakarinopon-san's 'Relaxation of Tension' — Respectful Bookshelf Series

Hello, this is Bell note.

When you continue writing on note, even without exchanging many words directly, just sending each other 'likes' can sometimes give you a warm feeling, like greeting someone on the street.
Wakarinopon-san, whom I am introducing in this slightly overdue 'Respectful Bookshelf Series,' is one of those people who has been continuing such pleasant interactions with me for quite some time. Before I knew it, the unique entertainment world that Wakarinopon-san develops on note had become completely familiar to me.

Currently, an unofficial JoJo project hosted by Wakarinopon-san is underway.
The first installment, 'Show Me Your Stand: Create the History of Amane Town Together!'

Unfortunately, the deadline for that Stand registration project has passed, so this time, I decided to participate in the second installment currently accepting entries, '#StrangeLandmarksOfAmaneTown'!

Since the second installment is a call for 'landmarks,' a specific location must be designated.
Therefore, I am applying for
'The Back Alley with the Gentle Delinquent'
located in the back alleys of Amane Town as a landmark!

The reason is that I made a short video for participating in this project. First, please take a look at this strange event that occurred in the back alley of the fictional town, Amane Town👇

◆ Synopsis
In a beautiful back alley in Amane Town, you encounter a rowdy thug. 'What are you glaring at! This town is mine! If you have a complaint...'The thug tries to attack.

Quietly, the Stand 'Extraordinary' is activated!

The thug suffers as an unknown ability is activated. However, in the silence after the intense music stops with a 'thud,' what is it that he sees...?

The 'memories of his gentle past' return to the thug's mind.

I hope you enjoy the surreal and heartwarming (?) conclusion that flips from overwhelming tension, along with the tempo of the video and the ebb and flow of the music.

🖋 Homage to Wakarinopon-san's charm: 'Relaxation of Tension'

Why did I make a video with this kind of story? It is my own way of expressing respect for the 'Relaxation of Tension' technique that Wakarinopon-san places at the foundation of their article creation.

It seems Wakarinopon-san incorporates the 'Relaxation of Tension' technique used in Rakugo and other arts into their articles.

Intentionally creating tension (pressure) and breaking it with an unexpected development to provide relaxation (humor/peace) to entertain the audience.

I felt deep respect for this dedication to entertainment and the 'Golden Spirit' of wanting to entertain everyone involved.

This short video also starts with the 'tension' of being accosted by a thug, which is broken by the Stand ability, and lands on a surreal conclusion (relaxation) of 'memories of his gentle past.'

I express that 'relaxation' through the 'ebb and flow' of the video and music.

🖋 Just for fun... I'll introduce my own Stand that I thought of this time!

The Stand ability that calmed the thug in the video. Since I have the chance, I'll introduce it here.

Stand Name: 'Extraordinary'

Ability: 'Frame Cut'
By making a 'frame' with the fingers of both hands, the user can cut out the 'past memories (images)' of the target (space or person) and play them back in the space as a 'hologram (image).' It makes them recall forgotten 'gentle feelings' or 'beautiful memories,' causing them to lose their will to fight.

It has zero physical destructive power.
That's right, my Stand has absolutely no physical attack power. It only makes people remember 'forgotten memories.' It's a Stand that makes the back alleys of Amane Town just a little bit 'extraordinary.'

The '#StrangeLandmarksOfAmaneTown' project is running until March 30th.

I saw that Wakari no Pon-san has been writing articles summarizing the participants of the Amane Town project. Picking up images from each participant's article, categorizing them, and introducing them in a way that fits the world-building—that work must be quite difficult.
