Good Grief (Half-Irritated)
“Is it that again?!”
“Look, Vordagadda. You’d better get down to the ground quickly. Your cute underlings are waiting for your command. If you leave them like this, they’ll be wiped out. That would be a shame, wouldn’t it? You don’t want to be abandoned by the <|World Eater|>, do you?”
“What about that bastard?!”
Vordagadda pointed at Kurogami in a rage. He was staring at this side, dumbfounded, unable to keep up with the turn of events.
In fact, Vordagadda was just as unable to keep up with the turn of events.
And the <Jester>, who looked like he was the only one who understood, was incredibly annoying.
“I will take responsibility for holding him back. In the meantime, you should lead the Orcs and escape from Heritage. Any objections?”
There were none. At least, none came to mind immediately.
However, he had no intention of just nodding and saying yes.
He stretched out his arm at the speed of lightning and grabbed the <Jester> by the collar.
“You, you’ve been annoying me for a while now. With that smug look on your face, saying nothing but nonsense... You’d better explain everything later, you piece of shit.”
“Good grief... fine. I understand. Unlike Kurogami Rekka, I’ll just die normally if I’m killed. I’ll refrain from making you angry. Scary, scary.”
Vordagadda growled deep in his throat and let go as if shoving him away.
Then he turned on his heel and let out a roar toward the heavens. The heavy, damp flapping of a |Chaos Wyvern| could be heard shortly after.
Grabbing its legs, the King of Demons soared up and headed for the ground.
“Hey, wait, hold on?!”
“Yes, don’t move. You and I are going to have a little chat here for a while.”
Hearing that voice behind him, Vordagadda gnashed his fangs.

The <Jester>, having seen off the shadow of the Chaos Wyvern, held his right hand up to Kurogami Rekka and smiled at the <Iron Mask>.
“Now, I want you to go and guard the <Bug>. An otherworldly hero, separate from Kurogami Rekka, is trying to destroy our trump card.”
“You knew that and just let it slide to come here?”
“Oh, come on, give me a break. Unlike you, I’m weak. Dealing with two heroes is impossible, impossible.”
The gaze peering from the visor narrowed in displeasure.
But the next moment, pale, impure phantom flames rose up, and the <Iron Mask> vanished.
It seemed he had accepted the request.
“Haa, good grief, what a pain, I’m troubled by such exhausting friends. Hey, don’t you think so, Kurogami-san?”
“HEY!! This, wait, why won’t it move?!”
“Would I gain anything by explaining that to you?”
“Yes, you would!! Isn’t this the chance to explain your ability with a smug face? What are you doing, you bastard?!”
“I wonder, I feel a tremendous cultural gap...”
The <Jester> rubbed his brow.
He is an incredibly troublesome existence who is impossible to kill and whose mere presence is a nuisance, but at least a conversation is possible.
He would have to negotiate to get him to return to his original world.
—But, that’s probably impossible...
With a heavy sigh in his heart, the <Jester> opened his mouth anyway.
“Um, for now, Kurogami Rekka-san. What is your purpose in fighting in this world?”
“Boobs.”
“Eh?”
“Boobs.”
“...”
“...”
The <Jester> felt like holding his head in his hands.

――The size difference is too great.
Finn Impetus gritted his teeth as he darted back and forth through the cage of |Logizomai| set to minimum cutting power.
Before his eyes, an exquisite fusion of organic and inorganic matter danced through the sky. It had a silhouette reminiscent of a winged serpent, but the diameter of its torso was more than twice Finn's height.
The parts that had been limbs before the fusion were now flying through the air, firing rapid-succession black-purple light bullets.
He jumped, twisted his body, grabbed the silver threads, and leaped again—maneuvering in three dimensions while fighting back with |Dianoia|. The |Logizomai| were already strung out in every direction. Every time the giant body of the <Dragon Worm> moved, several threads were severed, but they were immediately replaced. They acted as Finn's eyes, ears, and nerves, providing him with an objective, high-dimensional perspective of the battlefield. This place was now Finn's own body. He knew instantly what was happening and where.
Weaving through the gaps between them, Sojuro's black shadow leaped about at the speed of thunder, clashing with the light wings of the <Dragon Worm>.
――I have to get closer.
Among the alchemical registered armaments Finn possessed were offensive means for anti-armor weapons developed to destroy the tumor ships of the Cain people.
However, despite its massive size, the <Dragon Worm>'s movements boasted an agility that could only be called abnormal. It was at a level that could even be called a blasphemy against the laws of physics.
――If even |Dianoia| can't hit it, I don't think that will hit either.
