[Lilac Cup Spin-off Project: Lilac Pon] Express 'Becoming the me that is me' in a single kanji, and celebrate the senryu chosen for that kanji with a 'poem' ♫
The theme of this tournament was 'Becoming the me that is me.' wasn't it?
It could be said that each of us is a drama in our own right.
And that scenario isn't prepared in advance, and it remains unfinished.
Yet, it is a story that continues nonetheless.
No day is ever cut from the film.
And there isn't always a flashy production.
You cannot retake a scene either.
But, you can start over.
That is why it shines, a story where each of us is the protagonist.
Where to focus in that story,
while daring to let things go out of focus.
I want to feel the strength to keep moving forward (^^)
Now, if you were to express the next 'Becoming the me that is me' in a single kanji, what would it be?
Deciding on my own (@@)
I will select the senryu, haiku, or tanka that you have composed using that kanji.
And I will celebrate the birth of that senryu, haiku, or tanka with a free-verse poem.
Can I do it?
I challenged myself to this 'Lilac Pon' despite being who I am ^^;
Now, if I were to express the next 'Becoming the me that is me' in a single kanji, it would be 'Thought'.
The one that hit the mark for this 'Thought' is the following senryu by Tsuru-san's mother.
"Happiness is thinking of the other person"
For this senryu, I've intentionally blurred the focus, like an out-of-focus photograph in a free-verse poem.
Just like taking an impressive photograph.
Prepared for it to be out of focus ^^;
When I try to put the 'happiness' in the foreground out of focus.
I hope it becomes an impressive poem that highlights the 'other person' in the background, so I sang it (*´○`)♀~♪
[Free Verse] I want to understand
Because I love that person,
who has so many things,
that I do not have,
I want to grow,
many feelings I never had before,
and always,
always,
always,
keep thinking of them.
I might not be able to,
truly understand them,
but,
the feeling of wanting to understand them is,
Always,
Always,
Always,
I want to keep holding onto it.
[Self-appointed tie-up song (^^♪]
