Groundbreaking ideas in your head take more than twice the effort to execute than they did to conceive
Wouldn't putting this idea into practice lead to a massive success?
Many people have probably thought about things like this.
I often come up with things like 'If it were me, I'd do this' or 'I'd like to try doing this,' so I used to think I was someone who could come up with original ideas.
However, since I've started reading books more often lately, I've been made to realize that's not the case.
The things I can think of in my mere 28 years of life experience have been thought of countless times throughout human history.
It's not like I'm suddenly going to come up with a groundbreaking idea that no one has ever thought of before.
Once I learned that, I next thought about why no one else is doing the things I've come up with.
But the answer to that is simple, too.
It's because it takes far too much effort.
And because there is no guarantee that the rewards will be worth that effort.
In the process of building a business, every business ultimately leads to 'reward'.
While there are some people who do things for free, it can't be completely free.
Because if I die, it would all be for nothing.
So, does that mean I'll remain unable to realize this idea in my head forever? That's not the case.
Since I have something wonderful (self-proclaimed) inside me, I can't let it go to waste.
Since the immediate concern is 'reward,' I have no choice but to work on connecting what I want to do with a reward somewhere.
It doesn't have to be directly connected.
You can earn a secure income from your main job and do what you want to do as a side job.
The reverse is fine, too.
The important thing is to ensure you have a secure income.
You should be willing to do things you don't want to do to earn this income.
Self-actualization requires that much effort.
What else is needed is resolve and conviction.
A vague feeling of wanting to try something is easily shattered when you hit a wall.
I think you need a firm determination that you would want to do it even if today were the last day of your life.
