Eliminating Escape Routes by Paying Money
I had been living a life of working the same hours every day and receiving a salary that was about the same every month, but I realized that my salary would never increase no matter how long I continued like that, so I decided to try various things to earn money through a side job, but whenever I actually tried to do something, I would freeze.
The reason I freeze is that deep down, I still feel like things are fine.
I have a habit of being overly cautious.
Will what I'm thinking about right now really work out?
Won't I lose money if I fail?
Such thoughts are what stop me from taking action.
Now, changing the subject, the end of the year is approaching again. Once the end of the year is over, the beginning of the year arrives.
When the beginning of the year comes, yes, tax filing season arrives.
I imagine not many people look happy when they hear about tax filing, but since I have generated revenue, I have no choice but to file my taxes.
And I don't want to be scrambling to complete the procedures when tax season arrives.
That is when I arrived at an accounting software called freee.
freee is an excellent system that allows you to easily file your taxes during tax season by entering your income and expenses every month.
However, it is expensive.
Although it is relatively inexpensive among accounting software, it is still painful to pay over 20,000 yen a year.
Purchasing this means I must generate at least 50,000 yen or more in new revenue every year.
It is cheap when viewed on an annual basis, but if I pay it as a lump sum, I need to make sure I use it to its full potential.
However, when I saw the price, I thought this was good.
With this, I can make it so I cannot escape.
Like it or not, if I don't generate revenue, I will be in the red by that amount.
And I will also be moving forward with my tax filing preparations.
Thinking that way, it didn't take long for me to make the purchase.
I decided to intentionally push myself and break out of the state of not being able to do anything.
Surprisingly, I no longer have the anxiety of wondering what I should do if I try and fail; instead, I only have the feeling that I must do it.
When you cannot move, it is good to pay money to block your escape routes. It is a drastic measure, but it is definitely effective, so when I am truly stuck again, I intend to create the same option to eliminate my escape routes.
