Early Morning Gourmet Activity Log August 23, 2025 02

Now, next up, I drove the car and arrived at this facility.

It is a massive facility that supports Tokyo's food supply. The most lively time is in the middle of the night, but even in the early morning after the peak, turret trucks and forklifts are rushing around busily in every direction.

Ignoring the hustle and bustle, I headed to the shop I was aiming for in the related building... This is my third visit.

Unlike other shops serving seafood that appeal to tourists, this place has the atmosphere of an unpretentious town Chinese restaurant supported by market workers.

I visited right after it opened at 6:00 AM. There was one customer ahead of me, but more followed one after another lol.

Even though it's called lunch, I'm eating it in the early morning lol. The main dish for lunch probably changes daily. On this day, it was pork ginger stir-fry.

The ginger pork had a rich, sweet-leaning flavor that really makes the rice go down easy 🍚. The ramen is that nostalgic town Chinese style 🍜. This is it, this is exactly what I wanted 👍️.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hearty market meal that satisfies the stomachs of workers ✌.
