[Exhibition] Changing Ruins Exhibition 2025
An exhibition I went to for the first time last year and was moved by.
A collection of wonderful displays that made me feel the splendor of ruins all over again.
I was so excited the moment I saw the announcement that it was being held again this year!
I even wrote an article about it before it had even started.
I had been looking forward to it for about two months.
Last year, due to work, I couldn't go at the beginning, so the merchandise I wanted was sold out 😑
This time, I rushed over as early as I could 🏃🏻♀️

So, I arrived. TODAYS GALLERY STUDIO NAGOYA!
Last year I was able to view it alone, but this time there were 3-4 other customers in the shop.
What's more, near the entrance, some guys were chatting like, "Are you into ruins?" "Oh, yeah, I am!"...!
I had to cut through them to get to the reception. It was such an awkward start.
I should have waited for them to finish their conversation. But I was so excited, so excited, that I wanted to get inside quickly, and it was also due to the strange energy I had after finishing a night shift.
Sorry for interrupting... 😥

Photography and social media posting are allowed at the exhibition. How generous.
Works by 16 creators were on display.
Ruins from both Japan and abroad.
For places I'd seen before, I was able to reaffirm, "These ruins really are great...!" and for places I was seeing for the first time, I was moved, thinking, "Are there such wonderful places out there!!"
I was also moved in a different way seeing how different the works were depending on the photographer, even when they were shooting the same location.
It was great last year, but it's the best this year too!
Photos from the exhibition below.
Some didn't turn out well because of the lighting, but...

Sigh... I'm speechless.
I'm super happy to have seen such wonderful photos.

And the Departure exhibit!!
It was wonderful again this year.

I felt a bit embarrassed, but I wrote down my thoughts in the permanent notebook.
I always feel shy writing things like this.
I have so much I want to write, but when I actually pick up the pen, it all gets jumbled and I can't put my thoughts into words well.
Writing is difficult.

The merchandise corner was also well-stocked. I'm glad I came early.
They even had the photo book that was sold out last year!
I bought the official Ruins Exhibition catalog and two Departure photo books ♡

I saw some great things again this year...
Being supplied with wonderful ruins extends my life...!
