A Belated Hinamatsuri Menu🎎
Friday, March 7th.
The day my eldest daughter and grandchildren stay over.
This was the day my eldest daughter finished a big project and was having a celebration.
My mission was to prepare dinner, pick up the grandchildren, give them a bath, feed them dinner, and put them to bed💪
So, I decided to make a belated Hinamatsuri menu with things the grandchildren like.
Dinner: Hinamatsuri Menu🎎

The 7-year-old grandchild wanted fried shrimp🍤
The 5-year-old grandchild wanted macaroni salad and french fries
For the main dish, I made DIY seafood chirashi sushi

that I had frozen were a huge hit🎯
My 5-year-old grandchild, who loves fish cakes, kept eating them
They disappeared in no time🤭

However!
The 7-year-old grandchild said about the fried shrimp,
"This isn't what I expected"
😢
When I asked my daughter, she said that when she fried frozen shrimp, the two of them devoured them😅
Next time, I'll use headless shrimp🍤

Breakfast: The usual DIY sandwiches

Lunch: My daughter's requested menu
Since they said they would eat lunch before heading home, I made my daughter's requested menu for lunch.

chestnut rice, which my 5-year-old grandchild likes,
miso soup with Naruto fish cakes,
and mini hamburgers for the 7-year-old grandchild to take home

After this, I added more for the grandchildren.
I made plenty of side dishes for my daughter to take home.
Just as I was getting ready to head back, my 7-year-old grandchild said they wanted to stay another night, so
I saw off my daughter and my 5-year-old grandchild👋
The record of my 7-year-old grandchild's sleepover will be in the next post.
